To that end, we are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer that can contribute to guarantee the quality of our site in terms of functionality, reliability and performance. In this role, you will not only be able to create regression test suites to ensure there are no degrades or unexpected results after code deployment, but also to give your opinion about how the application feels, and how it could be improved to meet our customers needs. We are a startup with short cycles and continuous iteration, where each voice counts.
Skills and experiences
Minimum qualifications
- 3 years+ experience in designing/executing tests for Web App/Web API.
- JSTQB/ISTQB Foundation Level certified or equivalent testing knowledge.
- Experience in test automation using Selenium, JUnit, testNG, Cucumber, etc.
- Experience writing automated tests in JavaScript, Python, JAVA or Kotlin.
- Passion for improving processes and products.
- Willing to work in a highly dynamic environment with daily releases.
- Business level of English: good summarizing and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in testing mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies: test simulations, performance analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner or Blazemeter.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Development tools like Jenkins.
About the position
The main objective of our QA Automation Engineer Role is to improve the efficiency of our testing effort, reducing time expensive activities like manual testing, and providing relevant data to the developer team to maintain and improve the functionality, reliability and performance of our products.
Work description
- Test Cases creation, execution, results analysis and maintenance, to ensure specifications are met (manual and automated).
- Identify gaps between design and implementation, clarifying and measuring expected outcomes.
- Assist with issues investigation and specifications improvement.
- Provide recommendations to improve the customer experience.
